During the first half of the Spring term, all of Year 12 participated in the annual Higher Education and Post-18 Preparation Programme. The 7 week programme included personal statement workshops delivered by our Higher Education team, a money management workshop delivered by The Money Charity, a lecture afternoon with a range of academic delivering taster lectures and an opportunities fair and speed interview afternoon delivered by a number of volunteers from the local community. The programme aimed to equip students with the information, advice and guidance that they need to help make informed decisions about their next steps beyond sixth form. A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make the programme a success; we look forward to helping these students pursue their chosen pathways when they return after the summer holidays.
